‘NC To Work For Resumption Of Center, Separatists Dialogue’
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar May 2: Asserting that the National Conference is committed to peace and political stability in the state for all-round development and economic growth, Finance Minister, A R Rather, Saturday said that his party would play pivotal role in bettering the Indo-Pak relations. “Our endeavour will be to work for resumption of Indo-Pak dialogue and the internal talks between New Delhi and separatists to open avenues for settlement of all issues relating to Jammu and Kashmir”, he said, adding that NC would take initiative in this direction as soon new government takes over at the Center. Rather who was addressing public meetings at Buzgo, Nilnag, Gogi Pathri, Kotbal, Bonan, Kharigund and Brinjan in Char-e-Sharief constituency said good and friendly Indo-Pak relations were imperative for peace and development in the Sub-Continent especially in J&K. Blaming PDP for dual speak, the Minister said that they have policy of deceit and division. “At one hand PDP appeased BJP by demanding scraping of Sindh Water Treaty to stop water to Pakistan and on the other its leadership deceives people by willfully abstaining from voting and fanning emotions on crucial issues,” he said. Saying that NC would continue to advocate its Autonomy proposal at all forums, Rather alleged that the PDP works under the direction of RSS and BJP to create confusion in the political scenario of J&K. He said in fact Jagmohan is the author of PDP’s self rule, the contours of which are not even clear to the PDP leadership itself. Rather said that indulging in baseless propaganda against the NC and its leadership has become the tradition of PDP since it was created by BJP to mislead the people by emotional blackmailing and divisive politics
