PostSubject: Barkha Dutt conjures up imaginary Kashmiri bloggers!   Sat Jan 03, 2009 12:21 pm

Just finished reading Barkha Dutt's new article Lets not get it wrong and this is what she has to say about the mood of Kashmiri bloggers regarding Omar Abdullah's win, "Young bloggers affiliated to separatist groups have congratulated the charismatic new Chief Minister for being the “best administrator” the state could hope for.."

Looks like Barkha Dutt just conjured up some imaginary Kashmiri separatist bloggers out of thin air!! Anyone know whom she is talking about? Maybe her imaginary friends refered her to these imaginary bloggers!

Kosur has a roster of Kashmiri bloggers, I visited each and every one of them to see if I was missing something. Check it for yourselves. I dont see any congratulations!! (Kashmir truth be told Blog)

Time to wake up from your revery Barkha!

PostSubject: Barkha Dutt is part of that war machinery   Thu Jan 08, 2009 10:33 am

Well, when one of our Hurriyat leaders said in a rally at TRC Srinagar that, "Indian media is part of its war machinery in Kashmir" all local media men affiliated with Indian media protested. I ask them to introspect and come up with an answer to the question. Was Gelanni Sahab correct or not? I personally beleive that he was to the point and absolutely correct.
Barkha Dutt's fondness of Omar Abdhullah is the real ostrich head approach which she is wrongly attributing to the Seperatists. We pro- freedom bloggers are not interested in Omar Abdhullah and Co. To us he is just another Indian agent, to sum up the long story short.
Request to the moderator: Please publish the link to Kashmir Center blog in your links to other bloggers section. Thanks

PostSubject: Barkha   Mon Jan 04, 2010 10:16 pm

As the world watched the news of Mumbai attacks, it was shocking to see NDTV’s Barkha Dutt breaking every canon of fair journalism. At one instance she asked a husband about his wife being trapped or seized as a hostage. The poor man fell in line and revealed where exactly his wife was hiding when he last saw her.
In another instance, the Reporter called the head of Oberoi Hotel, who confirmed that there were possibly more than 100 people in the building.
